Current Projects

Soil & Mudpie (and Mississippi!) - Phidippus Tyrelli

These absolute beauties are part of a breeding collaboration between Cosmic Creepers and Bug Print. Both ladies were paired with Mississippi on 10th Feb 2024 and we await nests with bated breath.

Midnight - Phidippus Ardens

Midnight is half of a collaborative project with Bug Print. She was paired with Wang and the pairing was a great success. Their first nest of babies have just dispersed the nest at i2 and they are doing really well. We hope to have them available in a matter of months. Midnight laid her second egg sac recently and these have been sent here to be raised.

Paprika - Phidippus Ardens

Paprika is one half of a collaborative project with Bug Print. She is more gold than Midnight and lighter overall. She was paired on the 4th October but no sign of babies just yet. We made the decision to re-pair her on the 3rd of January with a new male. We are hopeful for results.

Halloumi and Elbrus - Phidippus Regius Apalachicola (HE code)

These two are absolutely stunning and I am hoping for some super pretty little slings from them. Paired in May 2023 and Halloumi laid her first sac on the 23rd of July. These slings are now available to purchase in our shop.

Yolo and Homer - Phidippus Regius Florida (YH code)

This gorgeous pair are the start of what I hope is a very orange Florida line. Yolo is more peach now but has been very brightly orange up until her last moult, and Homer hails from an orange mother. Paired 30th December 2023, Yolo laid her first sac in January 2024 and we currently await the pitter patter of sling feet.

Big Booty Joody - Phidippus Regius Sierra De Bahoruco (BB code)

Big Booty Joody has been my 3rd attempt to successfully start a Sierra line at Cosmic Creepers. She was paired on the 26th of October and her babies are heading into i4 so will be available on the website in about 8 weeks. We also have a second sac in the nursery.

Wednesday and Sully - Phidippus Regius Bahamas (WS code)

Wednesday is a gorgeous white female with amethyst chelicerae. She's been waiting for a while for a decent suitor to woo her, but we have had a few failed attempts at pairing. She was successfully paired with the handsome Sully on the 29th September 2023, and is currently sitting on her 3rd eggsac. Her first clutch is now available to buy in the shop. As this is a collaboration, any slings will be available here and from Charlottes We

Raisin and Zed - Phidippus Regius

Raisin is a gorgeous standard Regius from light lines. I'm hoping to continue some super light regius lines so couldn't not pair her with the frosty ice man Zed. Paired in November of 2023, we currently having two sacs from Raisin gowing on in the nursery.

Virgin Mary - Phidippus Regius Blue Mountain

Virgin Mary is a spider that has baffled me somewhat. She was put with a male in December 23 and and despite him climbing on and attempting to mate with her she attacked him multiple times. I quickly separated after a couple of minutes because I'm a big believer in not trying to force a pairing that is destined not to be. Much to my surprise Virgin Mary produced a fertile sac on Jan 23rd this year and so far I can see just a handful of little babies in there.
