My fear of spiders turned to fascination during lockdown in 2020. The weather was beautiful, and me and my two young children (and the baby I was growing) spent our days in the garden. The children would show me various spiders and ask me what they were, I only knew the common names so made it my mission to learn. And there was born my new hobby! It grew and grew until eventually I decided I needed a spider of my own. Along came my two first additions, Cosy and Ruby in 2021. In 2022 I decided breeding was something I really wanted to do, and I havent looked back. It has been a huge learning journey and still to this day I spend as much time as I have spare researching spiders and perfecting my husbandry. Welfare and care are of utmost importance to me, and I'm yet to grow bored of tending to and watching over my precious spider friends.
